  • Zardozi Glittering gold embroidery, Abhinav Publication 1996 which has been a major source of inspiration and promotion of traditional Indian embroidery in fashion education/ practices and is extensively used internationally by the students /faculty /fashion designers/ scholars in textile/design, art/craft and allied fields.
  • Cultural vision of Tribal Fashions- Journey through the millenium’ Chapter in book Evolving Trends in Fashion The NIFT Millenium Document-2000 pp.17-26.
  • Nearly 80 papers in relevant field in journals/ newspapers/magazines etc.

As Academic Visitor to Victoria and Albert Museum, London -1990

  • I developed documented slide collection of Indian Costumes.

Experience related to activities at NIFT:

  • Documentation of major Textile/accessory collection(Traditional/tribal) ; building up teaching resources of traditional jewelry, costumes ,leather
  • Academic teaching/ guiding students from different courses
  • Consultant for Panorama section of ‘GIS based Handicraft Database and Information System, for Uttar Pradesh’ project developed by Center for Rural Development Technology, IIT a New Delhi for O/O Development Commissioner( Handicrafts).
