This grant was used for patient support for indigent cancer patients,and for educational events. The cancer center has a unique point of viewas to the treatment of cancer patients. The Center works to treat the whole patient, not just the cancer. Patients are treated with dignity and honesty in a setting designed to provide a caring, staff oriented experience. 

The Center was opened in March of 1996 to meet the needs of the cancer patients in the surrounding areas. It developed a full service radiation therapy in surroundings of peace, harmony and strong staff support. The center also offers door to door transportation service for anyone needing rides for treatment.
